Lawmatics is a legal tech company and the product is a law practice CRM, marketing automation, legal billing, and much more. The product helps small to large law firms automate their workflows and target their customers efficiently and, in the past 5 years and a half, I’m helping to launch Lawmatics (since day zero). We raised 2.5 M seed two years ago and 10M series A investment one year ago.
I help to build the Engineering team and also created the Engineering ecosystem with the CTO. The CTO and I make all decisions, we wear many hats still. I’m the one to cut the ropes when a hire does not fit.
I architected and maintain all the infrastructure using AWS. I manage the whole team with the CTO and I have a special Reliability team we created to improve our system performance. I’m a hands-on manager, so I take care of the codebase and all our talents. I helped design all the Engineering workflow.
And I still code and take care of a very complex application we have and If there is a world I can define myself is resilience.
Technologies/tools: Node.js, React.js, JAVA, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Terraform, Redis, Postgresql, Slack, C#, Redis, New Relic

Cammy is a global company based in Australia and US and provides security WiFI cameras with an entire environment to get our customers safe. We have mobile / web apps that manage cameras streaming, Image Intelligence and alerts.
For about 3 months I worked on US Marketing Site and Store branch products. We created a separate environment for US branch which I was responsible to develop small product changes and keep US infrastructure.
After 3 months I got the responsibility to be developing the global Store and Sales product. At this product we created a new hole Store communicating with Recurly API's and two other internal API’s.
This migration was very intense and we split Sales platform and Customers Store business domain rules which we provided better experience to our customers and Sales team. This project is a micro service that communicate with 3 different API’s and one of these API’s was my responsibility to develop.
Technologies and tools used in Cammy: Node.js, React.js, Scala, AWS OpsWorks, Chef IT Automation, Ansible, Monit, nginx, Salesforce integrations, Recurly API, Bamboo, Jira, Slack, Google Tag Manager, and others.

The MDL Sistemas (MDL Systems) develop the Cilia product. It integrates Insurance solutions to help insurers on the claims process and cover all the claims processing workflow. This product is under development and we have the greater Brazilian insures as
partners( Bradesco Seguros,Generali,Liberty and others).
I coordinated the entire process of the development organization, realized the deployment of agile process, coached some developers without experience with Ruby on Rails. There is a well defined ecosystem in the stages of development where the workflow is pretty nice. Our team have 5 developers and 1 front end designer today.
I developed the infrastructure of all environments: production, development and QA on AWS using Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) thinking on scalability. I did the Cilia API and the integration system that communicates with insurers Web Services using Java and Scala programming languages.
We have more than 20 milions documents searchable on Elastic Search, more than five thousand tests under rspec.
Technologies and tools used: Ruby on rails, Grape API(Rest-like API),Jenkins for CI, Java, Scala, Postgresql, Redis and Resque Workers, Elasticsearch for search indexing and backbone for user interface, Jira, Hipchat, Skype.

I was a backend developer responsible for billing(programming resources), marketing resources(analysis report, plan management and workflow), new features, bug fixes. I worked with technologies like: Ruby, Capistrano, PostgreSQL, Redis and had contact with Solr, Elasticsearch and others.
