Senior Software Engineer, who recently relocated to Chicago, Illinois. Primarily work with React js, and with experience in React Native, css, Swift, and many other frameworks and languages. I enjoy working on software with a big impact that can be experienced by everyone, with a focus on ease of use, extensibility, and performance.

Until recently, I was working at Shopify as a frontend react developer on the admin interface, though I dabbled in their React Native mobile app and backend development in Ruby as well. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades who can take on many hats. 

Before Shopify, I started my career at Nutshell, where I’ve focused mostly on our React development as well, though again filled many roles, including PHP backend development, SQL and infrastructure development, native iOS development, and more.

In my spare time I like to step away from the computer when possible. I’m a bit of a gym rat, and love running and biking when the weather is nice for it. I’ve recently started rock climbing as well. I’m also a huge theme park nerd. I love all things Disney and Cedar Fair. I’m a sci-fi fan, from Star Trek to Stargate.

Oh, and I’m a dog person 🐶 if I’m not doing any of the above, I’m probably at the dog park, throwing a ball for my boy.
