Innovative Education Management (IEM) is a non-profit educational services provider supporting personalized learning through public charter school partnerships.
To ensure effective curriculum implementation, I leveraged iReady assessments to track student progress and identify learning gaps across TK-12 diverse learners, including Special Education, English Learners, and gifted students. Recognizing the need for personalized learning, I integrated Lexia, IXL, and Khan Academy, providing targeted interventions that improved outcomes.
By partnering with parents, I guided the implementation of research-based programs, ensuring students received explicit, meaningful, and differentiated instruction. This experience reinforced the power of data-driven insights in shaping equitable, personalized education that drives real student growth.

As sales professionals struggled to get feedback during the post-pandemic shift to virtual environments, the team faced challenges with an ineffective onboarding process that failed to engage beta participants and motivate them to improve their public speaking. There was also a pressing need to enhance the MVP by incorporating an AI companion experience.
Leveraging my experience in designing interactive lessons, I joined the team to help beta participants understand the app's value proposition while addressing privacy and data concerns related to neural networks. My goal was to create an onboarding experience that clearly communicated the app's purpose and built user trust.
Over a year, I led a user-centric design process, iterating based on continual user feedback. I collaborated closely with engineering to bring the design system online, ensuring consistency and scalability.
Since the hard launch in August 2023, the startup secured over $1 million in initial funding. Improved onboarding success rates demonstrated how effectively the app supports sales pitch practice while reinforcing its commitment to data privacy.
This onboarding initiative taught me to go beyond visual and UX design by staying curious about product requirements and understanding their impact on customers. With steadfast integrity, I learned to balance user needs with business goals, delivering a solution that drives engagement and trust.

Taught in a Title 1 school, fostering equitable learning through cooperative learning techniques and equity towers to deepen essential questions, success criteria, and learning objectives. Led the Yearbook class, guiding students in design and storytelling. Served on the AVID Committee, promoting college readiness. Leveraged IXL and Accelerated Reader to support differentiated instruction and student growth.

Engaged parents in student learning through consistent communication and involvement strategies; such as embedding Kagan, Cognitively Based Instruction, Mind up, Intellectual Leadership, and Growth Mindset. Utilized ClassDojo to enhance classroom management and parent engagement. Integrated NGSS-aligned science tools and digital labs to create interactive, hands-on learning experiences that fostered curiosity and critical thinking.
