Leading software design, integration, and testing for cross-functional teams of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. Establishing clear project goals and deadlines with design documentation while prioritizing communication across sub-teams. Implemented C++ library for autonomous system that controls a rocket’s descent by pulling on the brake lines of a parachute. System integrated into onboard flight software, used sensor data to dynamically steer towards a predetermined GPS location. Performed rigorous ground testing with flight simulations to predict system behaviors, assess failure modes, and manage risk. Executed four flights on a testbed rocket to inform the closed-loop feedback control algorithm used on final launch vehicle. IREC 2025: Won 3rd Place in 10k Hybrid SRAD category; selected by team to present system’s execution and development.
Selected to be a part of a twenty-seven student cohort from the Class of 2026 who explores the intersection between technology and the humanities through specialized courses, lecture series, and projects.
Organized strategic interviews with industry leaders in AI chip design, IC packaging, advanced packaging research, broadband technology manufacturing, and supply chain management. Exercised interpersonal communication skills to drive research execution and deliver a written report of findings.
Created a virtual reality (VR) experience for the NYC Civic Engagement Commission's People's Bus. I collaborated with the resident artist to align with their goals of spreading awareness of city services and increasing voter participation in all five NYC boroughs. I implemented the experience by developing a 3D model using Blender, designing user interaction in Unity, and editing textures in Adobe Photoshop. The experience culminated in a presentation at Cornell Tech's Fall Open Studio where I communicated the project's development process and mission to visitors.
Took project-based courses in generative computing and artificial intelligence, participatory design, and innovation in public service as part of the eight-week scholars experience at Cornell Tech. Projects included developing a virtual reality experience for the NYC Civic Engagement Commission's People's Bus and website design for the Bronx Cooperative Development Initiative.
