As a software engineer at Good.Lab, I contribute to the development of the ESG software solution, with a specific focus on the corporate greenhouse gas emissions calculator. I use React, Redux, Express, C#/.NET,  and PostgreSQL to create user-friendly and scalable web applications that help businesses measure and improve their environmental and social impact. I also collaborate with other engineers, designers, sustainability consultants, and product managers to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.

Before joining Good.Lab, I gained valuable experience in diverse and cutting-edge industries such as stem cell biotechnology, neuroscience behavior change, sustainability, and more. I worked as a product engineer at Reframe, where I led the development of a new onboarding React.js site that increased user engagement and retention. I also worked as a software engineer at FACTORFIVE Skincare, where I performed various tasks ranging from data analysis and automation to website development and hardware configuration.

I graduated from Springboard's computer software engineering program, where I learned the fundamentals of full-stack development, data structures, algorithms, testing, and best practices. I also attended California State University, Chico, where I studied computer science and developed a passion for solving complex problems with code. I am always eager to explore new technologies and skills. Outside of work, I enjoy surfing, climbing, and music.

At FACTORFIVE Skincare, I wore quite a few different hats for my tasks, but whether it was algorithmically combing through large spreadsheet data sets to find new leads for our reps, diagnosing and configuring hardware, helping design more data-secure and effective communication and organization skills for the company at large, automating tasks/emails, roleplaying in a lab coat as a stem cell scientist model, filling tubes of serum, or of course, software engineering & website development, I did it all with a sense of pride, purpose, and a team-centered attitude.
