Technical Lead on Observability

{logs, metrics, traces, errors/exceptions, (runtime - CPU/memory) profiles} X {emission, transport, ingestion, processing, storage, querying, visualization, alerting}

Infrastructure revamp:

• Introduced Terraform & Atlantis to enable automatic workflows for infrastructure management and drove adoption across the org

• Prototyped initial Kubernetes stack that became the foundation for how it’s run at Plaid today

• Drove first and most impactful Kubernetes use cases to demonstrate potential

• Started migration of all Plaid workloads from ECS to Kubernetes

• Was on a team of 3 engineers prototyping an internal self-serve application platform

• Various utilities & tooling work

Was responsible for vast global multimedia storage & serving infrastructure for AMP (Apple Media Products - Music/Movies/TV Shows/Podcasts/Books). Wrote tooling and libraries around internal APIs to enable SRE efficiency and automation.
