Working on new features and improvements for the Wealthfront Cash account which in part has led to $90B+ AUM and 1M+ users.

### Software Engineer II @ Flipp
Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Implemented the Global SearchBar into the Flipp App which increased Search adoption among US users by 9.5% and Search Usage by 6.7%. Also led to a 29% MOM reduction in user complaints on missing content
- Lead Android developer on a Pilot project focused on unlocking organic user growth within the US. Iteratively tested and released multiple tactics including related item suggestions, contextual search, personalized content and introducing net new coupon content.
- A strong advocate for trying out new technology. Modernized our codebase to become 50% Kotlin, introduced Kotlin Flows and Coroutines into our codebase and adopted the MVVM architectural patterns for all features.

● Overhauled our Deep Linking architecture and introduced our in-app Sharing feature
- Led to an increase of 327% YOY in sharing and 5000+ app installs in the first month
- Unlocked Deferred Deep Linking and User Attribution capabilities
- Seamlessly share flyers, items and coupons with both users and non-users 

● Implemented native coupon support on the Android app to render Coupon Books securing $20,000 from retailers

● Created a renderer to dynamically display flyers from the backend. Allows control over flyer layouts, size and position giving the business more control over the content displayed and users more relevant content

● Made our app CCPA compliant allowing California users to request and delete their personal data

● Introduced and implemented new technologies into the codebase including Koin, DataBinding, WorkManager, Epoxy and Dynamic Feature Modules

● Modernized the app by migrating to Room, using Coroutines, utilizing MVVM architecture and rewriting core components in Kotlin. Led to increased performance and greatly reduced our crash rate

● Extended automated test coverage to 100% of new components, reducing manual regression time
