# Gibryon Bhojraj > Senior Full-stack Software Engineer Location: Queens County, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/gibryon I tend to be the engineer that smooths gaps between teams and siloed individuals, driven by a desire to understand systems holistically and to contribute to as many different code bases as possible. I excel in highly collaborative environments- public, searchable discourse is invaluable even without a remote-first workforce! My experience is extremely varied, and I'm proud of the skills I've picked up in each environment. I've written low-level C on FreeRTOS and a proprietary cooperative-scheduling OS, and fought with Bitbake and Yocto building custom Linux kernels components. I've worked on extremely reactive WebSocket-based embedded React apps and seen them replaced by shell-generated HTML pages. I've reverse-compiled Android apps and integrated real-time streaming code in legacy Objective-C. There have been entire systems written in Typescript that I helped build from the ground up. I've gone down the rabbit hole of premature optimization in Rust while trying to manage performance and scale with message buses and Kubernetes. Through all of these different experiences, I've consistently pushed for better code quality, through linting and performance testing, and for better user experiences, both for developers and end-users, by actively participating in refinement and architecture discussions. As a programmer, I prefer functional and composable over object-oriented, brevity over complexity and verbosity, logs over debuggers (I can use gdb, just not in production), and a slew of other fun opinionated jargon. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Treeswift Jan 2024 – Present | New York, New York, United States ### Senior Full-stack Software Engineer @ Wallaroo.AI Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | New York, New York, United States Developing infrastructure to support deployments and monitoring ML models.
