I am a Graduate student in Computer Science at Columbia University, enthusiastic about Machine Learning and Software Development, and actively seeking full-time opportunities regarding the same.

I am currently enrolled in the Machine Learning Track at Columbia University. During my Spring and Summer research, I worked on building an application to extract nutritional information from food images. I worked on object detection models and designed the cloud-fog-edge architecture for deployment.  Previously, I was a Senior Software Developer at Samsung Research, where I primarily worked on developing and maintaining image and video solutions for smartphone cameras. I also completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at NIT Karnataka, where focused on the systems and theory side of CS.

• As a part of the internal Intellectual Property group, I was involved in the research of deep learning based imaging methods for low-light setting and multi-frame high resolution capture
• Played a pivotal role in the end-to-end development and reliability of camera systems, including test-driven feature enhancements and PLM error handling with a quick three day TAT

• Ported and maintained Hardware Abstraction Layer and Driver code for features like Slow Motion and Live Focus on new smartphone models with Exynos chipsets
• Reduced camera cold start time by 20ms in Exynos chipset based models by leveraging multi-threading to speed up memory allocation time for camera 
• Was in charge of reliability for SingleTake, HDR, and NightMode solutions for Samsung mid-mass phones; resolved incurring issues with 3 days TAT
• Acted as liaison at Samsung Headquarters for the camera development for the A51-5G model
• Developed a new feature for Exynos chipset to smartly suggest when to switch to macro lens based on the perceived distance of an object in view of the lens
