# Gitika Jha > SDE @ Amazon Web Services | MS CS @ BU '24 | GHC '25 '23 Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/gitikajha I’m passionate about learning, engineering and AI research and development. I’m currently building cool things at AWS. I have worked on several projects including Q developer, Kiro, Strands and an internal multi-agent orchestration tool. I’m now working on AgentCore! I hold a master’s degree from Boston University in CS, where I spent my summers doing research in the Image and Video computing lab. Prior to that, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. A project that I’m particularly proud of is a healthcare research paper and a tool that used computer vision for early breast cancer detection using self-supervised learning. Apart from my coursework, I gained leadership skills by building teams, and driving change from the time I served as President of the Student Council, Computer Society of India, and multiple tech committees. I care deeply about mentorship, volunteering, and building inclusive spaces in tech. I’ve been active at events like Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) and champion diversity and inclusion whenever I can! I’m intrigued by LLMs and really into computer vision! I’m always up to grab coffee or a virtual chat, so don’t hesitate to reach out and connect :) ## Work Experience ### Software Development Engineer (ML) @ Amazon Web Services (AWS) Jan 2024 – Present | New York, New York, United States I am building the DevEx for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore - Worked on developing an internal multi-agent AI Orchestration for various AWS Q tenants, designing and implementing workflows to coordinate AI agents across AWS services - Built agent hooks and specs in Kiro (check it out at https://kiro.dev/) - Successfully onboarded major tech partners (Datadog, Wiz, Cloudzero) into AWS Q platform end-to-end (https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2024/11/amazon-q-developer-plugins-datadog-wiz-services/ ) ### Research Assistant @ Boston University Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | Boston, Massachusetts, United States Interned at the Image and Video Computing Lab at BU advised by Prof. Bryan Plummer and Prof. Kate Saenko with guidance from PhD students in the lab.
