Working on independent projects (all repos available on my GitHub). Mostly with React/Node/Python, deploying with AWS/Travis.
๐จ๐ปโ๐ป Portfolio - WIP. A place for me to share what I'm building, writing, photographing, and thinking about. (React/GraphQL/Server-side Rendering)
โ๏ธ Cupbot - An application for Discord that adds personality to private servers and lets users persist shared content as YouTube playlists. (Node/AWS/Discord)
๐ฎ Play Me - A plugin for an experiential art piece in collaboration with a friend, where users watched the world through their eyes in real time and suggested/voted on things for the protagonist to do. (Node/AWS/Twitch)
๐ Cagematch - Contributed to the development of an iOS application that allows users to create lists and rank items using an ELO system. (Node/PostgreSQL)
I'm thinking about and researching user interactivity with non-traditional systems. How can we give our applications more personality? Most websites are designed to be simulations of physical desktops with papers laid flat on top of the deskโhow can we build more robust user interactions that spark joy?
