# Govind Lingam > Design Lead at DoorDash Location: Mountain View, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/govind I often wonder how design goes far beyond ink and paper, and permeates into real life experiences that change the way we do everyday things. I believe that good design is obvious, and great design is transparent. I come from the world of enterprise design, where I spent 5 years at SAP solving problems for a myriad of industries including marketing, finance, and sports and entertainment. I spent a majority of these years at an agency within SAP Design, where I worked with internal product teams and SAP customers on a range of engagements varying from design consulting to product design. My time at Georgia Tech allowed me to work on diverse fields such as Embodied Interaction, User Experience, Game Design, Augmented Reality and Projection Mapping, and had the opportunity to collaborate with the very people whose work helped me develop an interest in the field. Designing for the enterprise has yielded an appreciation and the experience of solving problems of varying complexities. I’m passionate about driving a human-centered design process to solve problems that create lasting impact, design products at the intersection of UX, technology and the business, and empower people with technology to run their businesses better.
