Supplier engineer for electro-optic seekerhead components, including advanced lenses and mirrors (aspheric surfaces, high speed optical polishing, diamond turning, ZnS and Ge materials), diffraction films, laser detectors, optical encoders, and infrared imagers; circuit card assemblies; and RF hardware. Responsible for working with supplier companies to optimize cost, quality, and schedule - pursuing affordability initiatives to lower cost (through both drawing changes and capital investment), auditing processes to ensure adherence to drawing specifications, and keeping the factory supplied with on-time deliveries of hardware.

– Lead supplier relationships for all electronic and optical components on StormBreakerTM, manage change in their RMS support teams, and interface with program leadership as the operations and supply chain lead for those parts.

– Assess supplier readiness by organizing and managing audits to review production abilities and technical compliance.
