# Grant W. > Software Engineer Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/grantw I'm a mission-driven software engineer who sees myself as empowered to learn and better almost anything; understanding that determination, organization and care for others foster effective collaboration that gets things done. I have melded passions for helping people and building things with software engineering and i'm running with it! I'm normally found a small business / start up context where there is great need for creative, independent thinkers wearing a few hats, building things in a fast-paced environment. I am supremely comfortable engaging with a team to have the best ideas, processes and technology advanced; regardless of origin. I consider hard work, honesty, and integrity as guiding principles, I enjoy respecting and validating those values in others. I have a proven record of improving business processes / codebases and solving problems with or without apparent solutions. I thrive designing processes or writing code to solve problems that I know are helping people do better. ## Work Experience ### Software engineer II @ Intuit Jan 2022 – Present | Mountain View, California, United States Upgraded tax topics written in a custom DSL to leverage a faster render framework for cross-platform tax experiences.
