I sit at the intersection of AI Engineering, Backend Engineering, and Data Engineering. Over 4+ years across Optum and HDFC Bank, I've shipped systems end-to-end: from training NLP models and integrating LLMs, to designing FastAPI backends and building Lakehouse architectures on Azure and Databricks.

My AI work includes an NLP-based resume ranking engine using Sentence-BERT, student performance prediction models, and MLflow-integrated fraud detection and readmission-risk scoring pipelines — deployed into production with CI/CD automation.

On the backend side, I design and build scalable, HIPAA-compliant APIs and services using Python and FastAPI, with a strong focus on clean architecture, data contracts, and system reliability.
