• Worked on the Diem blockchain (formerly Libra) with networking, mempool, and full nodes

• Developed and onboarded all teams onto a logging framework to reduce log loss

• Developed networking solutions between Diem nodes

• Developed Full node solutions for interoperability across multiple decentralized nodes

• Developed Mempool improvements to the Diem blockchain to improve reliability of sending transactions between nodes

• Coding in Rust

• Led weekly operational meetings for entire product across 5 teams. Designed agenda and process for following up about operational issues.

• Led a team of 4 engineers to launch API integrations with 8 AWS services in 4 months

• Independently designed and built an operational UI tool decreasing troubleshooting time from 15+ minutes to under 2 minutes

• Collaborated across multiple teams to build a UI to help customers interact with their database in less than 5 minutes

• Coded in Kotlin & Java

Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) API team

• Led weekly scrums and operational meetings for a team of 6 engineers and quarterly planning

• Designed and led a 3 engineer team to build IP target load balancing within 3 months across 3 teams

• Optimized APIs around database constraints to scale to thousands of requests per second

• Designed and built an operational UI tool on a Ruby on Rails website to determine customers affected within 30 seconds and root cause within 5 minutes

• Raised operational excellence by driving on-call pages from 40 a week to 2 a week

• Coded in Java, Ruby, and Python

Elastic Load Balancing API team

• Designed and built APIs for the Application Load Balancer (ALB) and the Network Load Balancer (NLB) platforms

• Organized and collaborated with 6 AWS services for the launch of the ALB platform

• Built a dynamic configuration service used across 4 different teams at thousands of requests per second on hundreds of hosts
