Experienced Hardware Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer/enterprise data storage industry. I am accustomed to tools such as Python, Excel, JMP, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Multimeters. I received my Bachelors from UCLA in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Medical Applications (took a lot of extra premed classes).

I have a decade of experience working in the HDD industry. I have worked on low level component testing of heads/media. I have worked in mixed signal IC's (preamplifier chip).

I now work as an engineer supporting enterprise customers. I work on qualifying HDDs for large datacenter deployments and have experience with both Linux and windows servers. I also work with custom firmware and SAS/SATA protocols. I use Bash/Python scripting to run tests on large groups of HDDs. I also have experience running custom tests like thermal testing, acoustics, vibration, etc. 

I work as a program manager with our largest customer. I coordinate product development, updates, etc between our engineers in Japan and customers in the US and Asia. I have excellent communication skills. I also have experience with software and enterprise server equipment environments.

Working with enterprise customers (large datacenters) to qualify HDD products and provide technical support, testing, reliability, and failure analysis. 

Oversaw products for datacenter deployments as a product manager.

Coded system to process millions of customer drive logs into a database on a daily basis. Improved product quality and customer support.

Created custom hardware/software tests in Linux/Windows to test data storage hardware according to customer specs.

### IC Test Engineer @ Western Digital

Working on validating and testing HDD preamp chips from vendors. I maintain test code in TCL which pulls data from instruments via GPIB/TCP and analyzes data. I write new tests and fix older broken code. Experience in power supply rejection ratio studies, gain bandwidth, noise floor measurements, ensuring linearity in preamp DAC changes, FPGA programming via VHDL, creating GUI's and tests in Python/TCL. I also summarize power consumption and linearity of the IC DACS. I work on FPGAs with VHDL to control the IC.

I had a summer engineering internship with WDC. During this time I was put in charge of setting up 10 new hard drive testing systems which are used to test different headstacks in the same drive. I would work with different engineering groups and ran many parametric tests on the drives.
