Hello! My name is Guillermo, and I'm a software engineer with a passion for crafting intuitive and delightful user experiences. I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing companies in the past, including TrueAccord, Amazon, Linkedin, and now at Webflow.

Throughout my career, I've taken on a variety of challenges that have pushed me to grow as an engineer. One project I'm particularly proud of was creating a client-side service that allows teams to introduce sounds to their UI using Ember and Typescript. If you're reading this, you've probably already heard the sounds!

At Amazon, I transformed the Podcaster Portal Web app from a simple step form into a full-fledged dashboard with administrative functionality. This allowed content creators to distribute their podcasts on Amazon Music using React, Typescript, and Redux. 

One of my most significant accomplishments was leading the technical design and implementation of migrating a legacy consumer-facing web application and custom CMS from Angular.js to Next.js and Contentful when I was working at TrueAccord.

- Collaborated with engineering teams to create a client-side reusable sound service, enabling teams to easily add sounds to user actions, improving the user experience.
- Built out components and services for the Feature Introduction Framework, enabling teams to create more visibility into LinkedIn's new features. 
- Investigated and researched rich text editor libraries and implemented a  text editor using Ember, Typescript, and Tiptap.
- Migrated internal design system components to Typescript, leading to better developer ergonomics, quicker debugging, and improved code readability.
