As the Founding Product Designer at Twimo, I played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product vision from the ground up. I led product and experience, designing a new market solution, overseeing the end-to-end design process—from product ideation and UX strategy to visual design and ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Beyond design, I lead product management and user research, bridging the gap between business objectives and user needs.

After the acquisition, I chose to take my expertise ranging from product design, information architecture and user experience to consult with clients. I worked with various businesses across multiple industries to provide UX/UI and Product Design solutions that solve user needs and achieve business goals.

TrueRent was acquired by RentecDirect in April of 2022. Rentec Direct specializes in full-service property management software for landlords, property managers, investors, owners, and renters. Through this acquisition, Rentec Direct onboarded TrueRent clients and offered them expanded services and advanced features. As part of the acquisition, Rentec Direct migrated current TrueRent clients onto their platform. I led the acquisition alongside my partner.

TrueRent property management software provides flexible, and customizable accounts to help property managers/owners streamline their business.

We came into a space that had no representation for the smaller-scale property owner. The other software available at the time was targeted for real estate management companies, managing hundreds to thousands of units with high-end pricing. We created software that has the capability to manage 1000 units, but is accessible and affordable for the property owner with 1 unit. With our sliding scale pricing and easy-to-use system, we provide accessible software to all types of property owners.

We have continued to grow and innovate our business over the years by providing essential features integrated into the software with no additional fees. We provide free online rent collection with next-day funding and integrated TransUnion screening services directly into our user’s accounts. Our software ultimately helps landlords and property owners make their businesses more profitable.
