Hello! I’m Hana 😊

I’m a Design Lead with 10+ years of experience in product design and over a decade in UX research, HCI, and human psychology. I began my career in research, building a strong foundation in understanding people's needs, an approach I carry into product design today. Over the years, I’ve grown into leadership roles, where I blend strategy, design, and behavioral insights to guide teams in creating intuitive, inclusive, and accessible experiences

I’ve led and mentored design teams across SaaS, B2B, and B2C companies, where at the heart of my work is breaking down barriers to make technology more inclusive and impactful. I support teams through product discovery, design execution, and cross-functional alignment, helping define UX strategy, shape product direction alongside engineering and product leads, and ensure design decisions are grounded in both user needs and business goals from discovery through launch.

Beyond my day to day work, I'm passionate about shaping the next generation of designers, where I teach UX design and research for aspiring students and mentor LGBTQ+ professionals breaking into tech through QueerTech. 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

Outside of work, you’ll find me with my camera capturing food photography and enjoying life in Portugal - hiking the coast, via ferrata climbing, discovering cafés, and soaking in the sunshine ☕️☀️
