Super cool product - check out glean.com for a demo. Joined as a product engineer to the setup team that handles product setup and admin-facing features. Definitely a proud moment when the features you build lets an enterprise with > 10,000 users setup Glean.
Now working on LLM infrastructure for GleanChat (think ChatGPT but for your company data).
I work with Golang, Java, TypeScript, Python, and MySQL in that order.

I was in full startup mode that year and joint a small 10 person team that set out to shake up the gardening industry. It was niche but that was exactly why I joined.
I worked as a full stack engineer alongside 2 others. Site is live at growsquares.com and looks pretty much how I left it. I developed the REST API used by the web app. I also developed the backbone of the backend infrastructure to crawl open source datasets that guided user decisions.
Technologies I worked with were React<>TypeScript, MongoDB, Java, Python and Shopify.

My heart was longing for building my own startup. I teamed up with a Harvard MBA and set out to revolutionize the HOA industry. Think digitization of paperwork, maintenance, complaints, community, chat.
We ended up developing a pretty successful beta (e-hoa.com that's now been decommissioned) and were cashflow positive in 3 months. We were finding it hard to sell and I wasn't ready to drop out just yet. I ended up going back to college but learnt a ton about how to run a business.
Worked as a sole developer so did everything - Firebase as the database, React<>TypeScript for the web app, Golang for the backend.
Providence, Rhode Island, United States
In the semester before I got pretty deep into Operating Systems, Assembly, and Infrastructure. At the time I thought deployment infrastructure and scale was fun to work on. A few months were enough to change my mind. I lost some of my hair here :).
I joined Professor Theophilus Benson into researching if it was possible to examine microservice performance using eBPF without a significant performance lag.
I worked heavily with Kubernetes, Docker, Python, and Beam.
My first internship out of college. I learnt about equity, debt, money markets, and financial trading models.
My main project was co-developing a machine learning model to optimize the distribution of equity and debt in mutual funds based on market interpretation. It was sanctioned for use before I left; don't know if it ever made it into production.
I learnt a bunch about Python, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Kafka
