• Led the development of “Crystal” (a web application for Sales & Trading Workflow), including DevOps, front and back end, API interfaces, multiple databases connections, latency optimization and cloud deployment
• Implemented new GUI and DB technologies to render 20 million+ rows/500+ column datasets (displaying, updating, grouping, pivoting, aggregating, filtering and sorting in real-time)
• Rebuilt and optimized subscription algorithms response times from minutes to milliseconds by reconstructing queries, aggregation pipelines, calculated fields, user-specific data permissions and reactivate updates
• Developed a CI/CD process using CloudFormation to reduce the time from code change to production deployment from hours to minutes
• Deployed and maintained the web application servers for clients, including managing domains configuration setup, SSO, SSL certificates, security groups and auto scaling
• Analyzed data from third party APIs and translated Portfolios, Market Data and Product Data into Crystal by parsing unique identifiers, categorizing financial instruments
• Communicated closely with clients (IT, salespersons and traders) to produce iterative innovation; tested, debugged and deployed new features in production, delivered to clients in a timely manner
• Reported to the CEO directly, participated in major company decisions on development and provided highly accurate estimated development schedules, foresaw and offered solutions to critical technology challenges
