During my tenure at Roku, I have spearheaded the design efforts for all Roku Ad Platform and analytics products. This role demanded a holistic approach, extending beyond product design to encompass understanding and strategizing the integration of Roku's ad products within the broader Roku ecosystem. To effectively address the burgeoning growth in this market sector, I played a pivotal role in expanding the design team from three designers to a comprehensive UX organization comprising designers, researchers, and writers, ultimately scaling the team to over a dozen members.
In this dynamic environment, I collaborated closely with product management and engineering leads to establish a streamlined system for cross-team collaboration, significantly enhancing the quality of requirements and design. This, in turn, bolstered engineering velocity. Additionally, I worked in tandem with consumer and application designers to develop a scalable pattern library for all Roku interaction designs, ensuring a consistent user experience across all Roku products. Using these libraries I designed and created fully interactive prototypes in React/MUI and Figma Make so we could conduct research with a fully functional prototypes before engineering was required to build out whole application.
Among the myriad projects under my purview was the design of the user experience for Roku's new self-service ad platform. Projections indicate that this platform will propel ad revenue growth from under $10 billion to $50 billion within five years. This endeavor exemplifies my capacity to navigate complex challenges and drive impactful outcomes in a rapidly evolving industry landscape.

In my role as Lead UX Designer, I headed up the collaboration between product management, engineering, and UX to craft dataxu's programmatic ad platform applications. Working closely with cross-departmental teams, I conducted extensive user research to develop comprehensive user journeys. These insights were instrumental in designing top-tier applications that empowered our platform users to operate with speed and efficiency.
As the first designer brought on board by dataxu, I collaborated closely with engineering to establish a pattern library. This resource facilitated the rapid and consistent development of the ad platform's interaction design, without compromising usability. This achievement paved the way for the expansion of the design team, allowing us to continue delivering best-in-class products until Roku's acquisition of dataxu in Spring 2019.

Joining Demandware as the sole designer overseeing all of its e-commerce applications, encompassing both front-end and back-end systems, I played a pivotal role in designing sophisticated solutions for a myriad of projects. Whether it was collaborating on commerce platform implementations, mobile applications, or back-office systems, or partnering directly with clients to construct top-tier e-commerce storefronts, my contributions were instrumental in Demandware's ascension as a premier e-commerce solution provider.
Working seamlessly across the Demandware organization alongside product managers, business analysts, solution architects, engineers, documentation specialists, and QA professionals, I led projects from inception to completion. Moreover, I engaged with clients to envision and execute their online storefronts, order management systems, and in-store implementations on the Demandware platform.
Throughout this journey, I spearheaded the growth of the design team from a single designer to a team of over six designers, propelling Demandware from a startup to a frontrunner in enterprise commerce applications. Notably, we guided the company through its initial public offering, positioning it for acquisition by Salesforce in 2016.
