I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Audible with 9 years of experience. I build large-scale distributed systems - low-latency APIs with sub-10ms latency, caching infrastructure handling 100K TPS reads and 10K TPS writes, and real-time streaming on Kinesis and Flink.

But what really defines me is how I operate. I'm a COE Bar Raiser and Security Bar Raiser at Audible, I've reviewed 5 Correction of Error reports in the last 6 months alone. I believe in active caring: I'm deeply involved in code reviews, design reviews, and pushing our engineering standards higher. When there's ambiguity, I'm the one grabbing a whiteboard to brainstorm solutions and then getting hands-on to validate them.

This mindset extends beyond my day job. I've reviewed 5 technical books for Manning Publications. I've mentored over 300 engineers through Codementor and Topmate. And I built AgentShip, an open-source framework for deploying AI agents to production with best practices baked in.

In terms of impact at Audible: I was promoted after building a fraud detection platform that saves $1.5 million annually. I then led the architecture of our GenAI semantic search service from scratch, now serving 10 million users and driving $5 million in revenue.

### Senior Software Engineer @ Audible
Jan 2023 – Present | Newark, New Jersey, United States
- Led the development of low latency (250ms) Gen AI semantic search service for Conversational search within Audible. 
- Worked on containerization and deployment (MLOPs) of 4 Gen AI Embedding models to support semantic search.
- Built the Scalable Ingestion platform to ingest 100s of datasets with million records each into opensearch for semantic search and added abilities to reduce the downtime of the indices in opensearch to 0. 
- Led the design of the durable scheduling mechanism for Kinship that supports the parallel ingestion of 10s of datasets. 

- Developed and operationalized around 3 ML workflows using AWS Sagemaker, Step functions, CDK & cloudwatch to serve Audible Content over app via Recommendation Service.

### Software Engineer @ Audible

- Created a real time streaming system (ACAD) to process 50,000 license events per minute for fraud detection
- Implemented enhanced fan out on Kinesis streams which increased the up time of Flink app (ACAD) by 50%.
