As a part of the Google Play team, I am responsible for designing promotional graphics used for
merchandising campaign throughout the store. These campaigns are generally thematic, such as
a holiday or special time of year, but can also be for new product launched or releases.
I currently support multiple regions, including, Japan, Russia, France, Belgium and Luxembourg, To
support multiple regions, each design needs to be custom tailored for that region and product
campaign. The designs must also take into consideration cultural difference and target
demographic.
Depending on the campaign, the design may call for full illustrations to be created from scratch. In
other campaigns, the design may require use of stock photography. Last, some designs may
require use of a specific product image for a launch.
In addition to my work in the Google Play store, I also provide designs for email marketing
campaigns for Japan.
