Manager Sales Engineering/Senior Electrical Engineer
• Working with customers to understand their products, capture their requirements, and prepare project conceptual design and proposal.
• Meeting with customers over the phone, email, or on site to assist in technical aspects of business development.
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how company products meet clients’ needs.
• Generating technical sales proposal and contracts (Conceptual design, deviations, clarifications, and options with sell price).
• Working with engineering team to ensure development schedules and deliveries are being met.
• Attending and/or participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services.
Senior Electrical Engineer
• Designing custom remote power systems according to customer specific project.
• Designing, installing and commissioning of remote off grid Hybrid power systems for pipeline main block valves (Customers: Enbridge, IPF, TransCanada). The power system is contained in an insulated steel skid and building with integrated (HVAC), dual Diesel Genset, ATS, Fuel Tanks, Battery Bank, Solar PV Array, Distribution Panel, VFD, UPS and PLC Control Panel.
• Design Hybrid power systems using Thermoelectric generator, Solar panels and Batteries for pipeline SCADA applications, cathodic Protection and compressed Nitrogen Valve Actuators.
• Designing Plug and Play remote power systems by designing Electrical Shelters for Extreme climate conditions using Thermoelectric Generator Heat Recovery System.
• Power system sizing and system power balance calculations.
• Design Power distribution panels (AC and DC)
• Bid support; perform Conceptual system design and component selection.
• Preparing system documentations, work instructions, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) instructions and Operation & Maintenance Manual.
