I am a self-sufficient Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience, excelling in Ruby on Rails, React, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. For the majority of my professional career I have done full stack development but I most enjoy Frontend. I am a top performer and have launched new products to thousands of production users. I have also maintained codebases and reduced tech debt. I am enjoy making beautiful useful products. 

Prior to beginning my career as a software engineer I spent 5 years in college studying computer science. I was originally a Computer Animation major but discovered a love for software engineering during my introductory courses and made the swap to CS.

In my spare time you are likely to find me tinkering with Lego mocs. I originally began playing with Lego again as an adult to teach myself mechanical engineering principles but have since become obsessed with the blend of form and function that Lego can create. I spend much of my time mechanizing existing Lego sets but I am also cooking up several original creations.
