Built HomeDrive: a small personal server box that is local, private and independent. It hosts Nextcloud and other Web apps at user's own places, features plug-and-play network tunnels, end-to-end HTTPS and automatic software updates.

Security and Privacy team lead. Oversaw the security and privacy posture of the company of 300+ employees. Managed a team of 3 people. Designed and implemented "secure-by-default" infrastructure to prevent incidents from happening. Established security and privacy risk models and performed risk assessments. Stood up security and privacy incident response programs. Provided security reviews and consulting to all company departments: software, hardware, balloon launch sites, hiring, legal, etc.

Designed and built embedded Loon Linux verified boot (bootloader, kernel, initramfs, rootfs), verified updater, SSH and TLS certificate. Eliminated the use of user static SSH keys on production systems.

Refactored and maintained the SCTP stack and MME module for Evolved Packet Core. Implemented PCRF. Designed, built and maintained API endpoints to peer with ISP partners.
