I ran the Human Interfaces group in Messenger and was responsible for the core messaging experience used by a billion people. Led a team of Product Managers across an organization of 100+ on Core Messaging, App-wide Product Standards, and Web.
We shipped "Project Lightspeed," a complete overhaul of our app that involved redesigning, rebuilding 90+ core features to be lighter-weight and faster. Lightspeed was key to Facebook's strategy to streamline new clients, interoperate between services like Instagram and Messenger, and eventually encryption.

Built the design organization behind Messenger's Business Platform and Monetization products. Established a people and business-focused product culture, where success meant that people enjoyed their experience and that businesses could sustainably increase their reach or drive revenue.
We built a platform for businesses to power their services with messaging, for moments like when you might need to ask a question before buying something. Developed models like Click-to-Messenger ads that drove meaningful revenue.

Designed products across core messaging and AI.
Built the "M" Chat Assistant in Messenger. Conversational suggestions like stickers, Polls, or apps like Spotify or Pinterest drove incremental messaging engagement. Drove the exploration on expanding M's personal assistant offering in-product to help coordinate your everyday social life.
Worked on Messenger’s core products, like the app information architecture, as well as Multi-Account support, which is used by 250M+ people.
