Developed a test trailer with functional drivetrain and suspension to create control system and prove efficiency of regenerative braking for the Aztec Racing FSAE team. Design work involved creating mathematical models for braking power required from rear axle of the race car at various speeds and levels of deceleration, creating of CAD models for the storage system, and making design choices to remain within the budget and project timeline.
