Product Manager at TIER IV, the company behind Autoware — the world's leading open-source autonomous driving platform.
I lead product for Co-MLOps, a data/ML operations platform helping OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers (including Astemo) accelerate ADAS/AD development. I drive v2.0 roadmap, customer discovery with automaker R&D teams, and requirements definition — while still contributing code myself.
Previously as a Software Engineer at TIER IV, I designed and built the operator monitoring GUI used in our Level 4 autonomous bus project — including the system certified for driverless operation on public roads at 35 km/h, a first in Japan.
I also serve as a non-executive director at my family's taxi company, where I led operational turnaround during COVID-19. Growing up in the taxi industry gave me a ground-level understanding of what autonomous mobility needs to solve.

Led a cross-functional team of 3–5 (designer, QA, engineers) to design and develop the remote monitoring interface for TIER IV's autonomous vehicle fleet. The GUI is actively used in Level 4 driverless bus operations on public roads, including Japan's first certified service at 35 km/h.
• Conducted field research with 5+ vehicle operators to identify workflow pain points and iterated through rapid prototyping cycles
