I'm Horace, a Full Stack Software Engineer. Previously studied and worked in the field of environmental engineering. I'm looking to apply my skills toward meaningful causes on a mission to protect and strengthen human health and environment. 

Outside of engineering, I am a martial arts and fitness coach. My interests include health and wellness, nutrition, combat sports, photography, wilderness activities, and philosophy.

Kelvin is a New York based start-up that is solving a 100-year-old problem: the lack of heating and cooling efficiency and comfort in buildings across the planet; causing enormous amounts of waste in both energy costs and carbon pollution. Our solution uses software, hardware, and data science to solve this problem in a cost effective way. We allow building owners and co-op boards to avoid the waste and the impending fines by giving them a solution that makes sense economically, practically, and environmentally.
Our award-winning technology has received recognition by the MIT Clean Energy Prize, the Popular Science Invention Award, Architizer A+ Award, and more. Our solution has been validated by NYSERDA to save 25% on heating costs and are eligible for all utility incentives. Our hybrid-electrification platform will soon enable buildings to electrify up to 80% of their heating demand at 20% of the cost of traditional approaches.
