Deployed a museum exhibit - Obscura, an immersive photographic experience based off of a set of recently uncovered photos from US Occupied Japan in the aftermath of WW2.
● Led a team of 4 designers, driving the project’s direction from ideation to execution and
collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to deliver an immersive, procedural museum
experience about never-before-seen photos from post WW2 Japan.
● Conducted 15 interviews & concept evaluations, and 10 user tests, rapidly prototyping and going
through 10+ iterations over 3 months to produce a vertical slice of an interactive VR experience.
● Prototyped the experience in Unity, integrating eye-tracking for gaze-based interactions that
enhanced the user’s engagement by responding to their eye gaze.
● Presented an interactive VR prototype to museum directors and aligned the project with the
museum’s goals of innovation, education, and historical significance, securing exhibition space in
a tight schedule.
