Beyond design, played PM, tech writer, devRel role to get things done. ### User Experience Designer @ Google Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | Sunnyvale, California, United States Apr 2020 - July 2021: Vertex AI - Co-led the foundational user research work to understand the pain points of data scientists and ML engineers. Drove the competitive research work in the notebook domain and analyzed key competitors like Databricks - Crafted the design vision for the next-gen notebook experience for data scientists and ML engineers, including but not limited to data connectors (with BigQuery, etc.), scalable compute backend, MLOps integrations (experiment tracking, model registry, lineage, etc.), revamped UI, etc. - Designed and launched: preview of the new Notebook product; new features for existing notebook product, new features for experiment tracking and hyperparameter tuning features. Discovered and distilled the main pain points and user needs and captured them with personas and user journeys. - Finalized the design after several rounds of ideation, prototyping, and testing.
