Machine Learning Linear & Forest Regression—R, MLR, XGBoost, ggplot2
    • Accomplished and implemented a model of the concentration of compounds in a body of water. The forest model reached a 500% better averaged predictive performance than other previously published methods of predicting the concentrations without over-fitting.
    • Efficiently multi-threaded and separated computational tasks for modeling allotting full utilization of computer resources. Efficient implementations provided 19 times better performance in generating and computing mathematical models than sequential means.
    • Organized, assessed, and evaluated major contributing dataset factors with client to integrate modeling software within their project requirements. Articulated complex and simple technical requirements back to the client for the project to progress.
    • Implemented and designed a relational PostgreSQL database in 2NF to normalize processed data to achieve interactive relationships between independent dataset features further optimizing model metric performance.

    • Allows SSH (Secure Shell) and SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) to be implemented on an Android app and interface with a server.
    • Architected with the Model View Controller design pattern. Improved upon scalability, performance, and flexibility with independent connections.
    • Developed WebSocket TCP connection to synchronize real-time communication when receiving and sending commands and files to a remote server with minimal data loss and latency.
    • Meticulously documented the Business Requirements, Architecture, Design, Validation and Testing specifications. Documentation includes UML diagrams and use case diagrams.

    • Collaborated amongst peers to establish discrete roles within the architectural design of the project requirements. 
    • Streamlined the development utilizing agile means to accomplish complex tasks correlated within their abstract role.
    • Lead back-end aspects of website design including the implementation of a login system, email password recovery, and a database.
    • Designed a relational MySQL database in 3NF to normalize unprocessed data to a filtered model to observe a micro-level correlation between educational content and grades.

MTA Subway Routing—Java, HTML, JSoup, JavaFX
    • Tasked to accumulate live data from MTA transit to make analytical observations to determine the efficiency for the current transportation route. Efficiency is calculated by the paths between two train stations through an application of Dijkstra’s algorithm.
    • Utilized the JSoup library to convert the subway lines from the MTA website into a computable graph.
    • Built a graphical interface using Java’s Swing toolkit to convey the destination given endpoints and display the shortest path.

### New York City Teens Connection - Co-Researcher & Leader @ New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

• Youth co-researcher in the study, design, data collection, and data analysis for the Youth Participatory Action Research Project in 2018.
    • Built solid, productive relationships with employees by delivering sound advice on problems and always backing up team members.
    • Served as a focus group moderator at the Youth Participatory Action Research Project for the focus groups on Staten Island.
    • Accomplished goals by working collaboratively with team members, and managers, on shared objectives. Objectives included organizing raw datasets, establishing a shared viewpoint within the dataset, and designed a campaign to address the viewpoint.
    • The New York City Teens Connection, along with the Youth Participatory Action Research Project, has been a part of helping reduce teen pregnancy by 60%.
