Assemble and lead project teams in risk characterization and cleanup of hazardous substance cleanups under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), aka: Superfund
Lead and oversee design of $30M+ "Fund-lead" (government-funded) remedy in California; team contributor for $100M+ Fund-lead remedial design in Arizona; lead or assist in oversight for several Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) remedial investigations to ensure compliance with CERCLA, the National Contingency Plan (40 CFR Part 300), and all relevant regulations
Collaboratively manage and direct professional and technical staff, leading the planning, safety, scope, budget, quality, and project schedule
Manage federal procurements and direct contractors in collaboration with Contracting Officers
Convene and facilitate technical discussions to ensure quality data, analysis, reports, and engineering designs, continuously adapt project planning strategies
Develop work plans, technical documents, and regulatory documents, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Records of Decision, and Remedial Design plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities to support reporting and decision-making
Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies, stakeholders, and the public to ensure transparent communication and project alignment
Lead community involvement activities, including public meetings and outreach efforts, to communicate project goals and address community concerns.
