Wore all-of-the-fullstack-hats while working to scale our system to onboard enterprise level clients: new backend services and critical/complicated migrations, new and complex frontend tools, diving into the Swift/iOS ecosystem, hunting down abstract issues in cloudwatch logs, etc.

I also worked closely with hospital partners and doctors to vet the validity of a feature I co-led and implemented, which was a highlight of my time as I got feedback directly from users and was able to iterate on what really made the product better.

Had a blast managing teams of backend engineers through a rollercoaster of user growth on our exercise equipment post-covid. Some of my favorite work of my career was done at this time, mentoring and serving wicked-smart and kind people while we tackled the enormous challenges of scaling our backend systems to handle a massive increase in concurrent users.

Worked for a bit in a hybrid role of management/IC, where I still developed 50% of the time, but also had a 7 reports .

Worked across the stack on core webviews on excercise machines during a period of high-user growth during covid. Had a blast implementing react query to solve some tricky state-management problems, as well as implementing workouts as a series/set-of-challenges to complete to earn badges/rewards.

Converted educational flash games to Javascript using the Cocos 2dx framework (quite a frontend challenge at times), as well as a suite of tools for teachers and students to manage their social/emotional learning in React.
