Developed webapps and tools that CARFAX dealers use every day. 2015 - 2016: Datacenter 2.0 developer. Involved in migrating applications to a distributed multi data center environment. Helped write a web service to consolidate business logic into a central place that services over 20 million requests per day. Designed a Cassandra schema and integrated SOLR schema that could better service customers. Updated a JMeter plugin to be compatible with Cassandra 3.0 to performance test our design. 2016 - Oct 2017: Dealer Vehicle History Delivery team. Rewrote legacy application by working with support staff to resolve reoccurring issues that caused manual intervention and features to be disabled. We re enabled features and increased application performance and accuracy. Our team's webapps combined served over 30 million requests per day. Oct 2017 - Aug 2018: Cloud Core team. Worked with teams to use terraform and automation to build and manage AWS infrastructures, and migrating applications to run on containers and serverless technologies. Aug 2018 - Present: Platform Engineering team. Creating tools to make migrating from on prim to AWS easier. Worked with smaller teams to create a terraform module for spinning up a fully managed container environment for their apps using ECS/Fargate clusters and CodePipeline for true CI/CD. Presented at internal CARFAX Datatech Summit conference. Real Time Web was my title and I went over the websocket protocol, example applications and a code demo. One of the examples I demoed was a visualizer of a CAPTCHA cracker library I wrote. The application presented the CAPTCHA image on the screen and slowed down the process to visually represent how the program detected each character correctly. Participated in numerous CARFAX Hack a thons, including 2 first places ### Software Intern @ CARFAX Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 Replicated police accident reports into pdf format by creating XSLT templates mapped with data points. Involved in system rewrite estimating and planning.
