Architected and spearheaded the enterprise-wide redesign and refactor of Five9’s Design System and 150+ component library.
Leading and mentoring 3 designers and 6 engineers across the design system and component library team.
Architected and launched a scalable white-label design token system (Tokens Studio, Style Dictionary, Chromatic), enabling multi-brand support and eliminating token drift.
Built an automated icon handoff pipeline (Figma MCP → SVGR → SVGO), removing manual processing and accelerating asset delivery.
Coordinated with 15+ engineering teams, 25+ PMs, VPs, CPO, and Chief Architects to prioritize development, define roadmap strategy, enforce UI standards, and drive adoption across the org.

### Frontend SWE II + Team Lead, Design System @ Five9

Leading and managing the Nimbus Team of 6 engineers, while architecting the component library and design system. Implementing best practices, ensuring WCAG compliance, and integrating AI tools (Nimbus MCP, Claude, Cursor).

Proactively driving communication between almost every engineering team throughout the company (nearly 200 frontend or full-stack devs), the UI architect, Chief Software Architect, Design team, CPO, and over a dozen PdMs (including our Accessibility PdM).

As the sole front-end developer:
• Developed React Native Web Hub UI from the ground up, with 6 pages, custom data table, details pane and pane navigation, multiple components, and ensured responsive design throughout.
• Built over 35 components and component wrappers for a React component library.
Introduced Tailwind into React app and Nativewind into React Native app.
• Designed and developed a React Native Installer app utilized to commission and install Domatic hardware in over 150 apartments in Seattle.
• Implemented a responsive dashboard in React with Charts.js graphs.
• Migrated React Query from v3 to v4 for over 40 APIs, utilized internally and by partnering companies.

• Improved front-end user experience for 3 automation rules sections with both functional programming and polymorphism, for the 3rd party connections team for the Signatures/Agreement Cloud core product.
• Developed with TypeScript, React.js, and NestJS, and coordinated with 5 design and language localization teams across the company.
• Strategized and created app connection info pages, using React, CSS, and Typescript, with Oauth2.0.
• Generated 20 unit tests for React components using Jest and React Testing Library, and contributed
debugging details via internal Kazmon data queries.
