Beryl operates sustainable shared transport schemes across the UK. I currently work in the User & Growth team, our customer-focused team, and prior to this I was in Operations Technology. As a result, I have contributed to a wide variety of products and features, and have particularly enjoyed those where I've been able to own a project end-to-end.

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted me to reassess my values, strengths and motivations and I ultimately concluded that a career in technology was where I would thrive.

Around this time, the founding team at Academy reached out to me and soon enough I was part of their first cohort of trainee software engineers. I completed four months of technical upskilling and leadership coaching, building a range of full stack projects and receiving regular performance feedback.

Movio is a New Zealand-based SaaS company which provides marketing solutions and insights to cinema industry operators.

There, my main responsibilities included creating, coordinating and executing email marketing campaigns for cinema exhibitors in Europe. I also conducted post-campaign data reporting and analysis for performance monitoring.
