I have worked on two teams in the bus family, and been a substantial part of moving our service to an off-core monolith structure, which involves scaling the system, improving and performance and fixing bugs because of memory and load pressure, along with auxiliary services like having a system to fetch metadata; a big portion of which is still in the monolith ### Software Developer @ Yahoo Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Sunnyvale Working in the Yahoo Mail Antispam and Delivery; the team responsible for safely handling billions of mails on a daily basis and delivering it to the inbox. Was responsible for developing authentication based on sender IP address. Analyzed data between systems for over 50 fields to test and improve the accuracy of a new system final overall accuracy - 97%. My primary role is to - Help identify quantitative data from medical papers. ### Software Development Intern @ Amazon Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater Seattle Area - Worked in the team which handles AWS accounts for Amazon employees. - My project receives the security threats/concerns on an internal AWS accounts as a stream, stores it in a database(DynamoDB). - Querying the database by account, and/or threat is supported. - The most challenging part of the project was to design to scale, because there are numerous (hundreds of thousands of) accounts, and some accounts can have as many as a million activities. - The stored data can also be used to mine the activities happening in an account, and to ensure that the account is risk-free. - As part of the project, I learned Unit Testing using JUnit, Mockito.
