• Led design strategy and new visual language for NPR’s mobile products, which have a daily active user audience of over 800k

• Created a new onboarding flow for the NPR app which increased user account creation by 6% week-over-week and achieved 33% increase of user opt-ins for push notifications.

• Modernized the UI of the mobile app audio player, the most highly-used interface in the app. Worked closely alongside 3+ product and tech managers to translate design, experience and requirements into achievable milestones.

• Successfully redesigned the mobile app landing page, prioritizing full responsiveness, accessibility compliance, and streamlined messaging. Achieved a dramatic 163% increase in page views and 28% decrease in bounce rate.

• Established a consistent and cohesive design system for NPR One by introducing a library of fonts, colors, and icons to be utilized across Android and iOS platforms.

High School Esports League (HSEL) - Responsive Dashboard

• Conducted user interviews with high school teachers to understand and synthesize the current HSEL dashboard flow's pain points

• Created mobile first sketches, wireframes, and user flows on the process of viewing and registering for tournaments. Iterated on process after validation testings

• Built a style guide with details on logo, typography, colors, and UI components

Literator - Landing Page

• Digitized illustrations of characters to be placed on landing page using Illustrator

• Built a brand deck and style guide to bridge the gap between Literator's landing page and app

Pholiyo - iOS App

• Developed the first version of an iOS app from concept to prototype that aggregates stock news related to the user's portfolio

• Interviewed investors and potential users in 3 rounds to validate and iterate on designs

• Built and shipped a brand guide, including icons and logo that I designed

• Designed graphic marketing materials for Facebook, Eventbrite, and print for an annual tech showcase to increase attendance

• Organized and began Adobe Office Hours to offer free help to students who wanted to learn how to use Adobe programs

• Observed and collected feedback from students and faculty about technology issues on campus; consolidated these pain points and reported them to the CIO every semester

• Led a design team to generate concepts and ideas for a concert poster to be viewed online and in the Berkeley community

• Analyzed the orchestral pieces in order to create a visual theme that was reflective of the whole concert

• Used AutoCAD to design mask template to create microfluidic devices on silicon wafer. Using soft lithography techniques, I created a lab-on-a-chip PDMS device to enable rapid single cell analysis.
