▪ Work on Alexa as senior leader in the Ranking organization. Ranking takes in the set of possible customer intentions to determine which application (among all skills) should receive the customer request. Specifically I currently work on a set of components that enable models to automatically search for more optimal ways to route in a customer-centric way (with guardrails). We also provide a voice capability to ask customers to clarify when the system cannot choose which application is preferable.
▪ Each spring I author the year-long technical road map for my team. This includes working with managers, customers and other technical leaders to coordinate new-concept development and opportunities for shared goals.

▪ Responsible for long-term direction and driving consensus across senior-leaders in partner teams across organizations
▪ Reviewed low and high level designs for SDEs and SDMs. The review process encompasses: refine APIs to explicitly represent service responsibilities and boundaries, align high-level thinking to consider customer edge cases that could be used to exploit tools, ensure scalability limits are well understood as risks, ensure latency targets are met across quantiles.
▪ Drive solutions to recurring operational problems, ensuring the team has visibility into if issues occur. When issues occur push to solve them in ways the reduce future down-time through automation.
