As UX leader, I coordinate work across Homeland Security teams to put our customer and users at the center of our product development. The first efforts have been aimed at incorporating UX concerns more clearly into R&D daily practices and at improving our current Support processes. I am also learning about User profiles and personas creation by carrying out research alongside other front-end developers.

In addition to my UX duties, I continue working on front-end development with React, JavaScript, and Material UI. With the help of Figma and keeping in mind UX concerns, I help create UI designs as mockups and wire frames that are later translated into code. I participate actively in updating our unit testing, collaborating closely with QA and Test automation personnel. My work is mostly done collaboratively within and across feature teams with Agile methodology.

As a part of the NetSuite team, I'm working with different international clients creating solutions to extend NetSuite capabilities. I also help with the implementation of Woolman Banking, a connection between NetSuite and banks in the nordic countries to ease payment traffic. My task involve the use of JavaScript, XML, and SQL language, as well as a detailed knowledge of SuiteScripts and other NetSuite particularities.

Development alongside Jussi Utunen of a new website for the real-state agency Asumaan.com. The website has been developed using React, CSS and JavaScript. I designed a great portion of the frontend, including the header and the menu, and the kohteet page and subpages.
