I wear a lot of hats in my role. Some highlights include being part of the team that owns, builds, and goes on call for 75% of the tier 1 services at PagerDuty. As well as being a part of the project that successfully replaced our old unmaintainable notification scheduling service with a new one that is faster, more reliable, cheaper to run, and was changed without any customer impact. 
In addition, I am a budding speaker, having given 4 talks so far, and am part of the initiative to totally revamp the techinical onboarding process for new hires and interns. I also fell in love with elixir through this role :)

I worked under the Collections Department of Verizon for the duration of the internship. During the time I wrote SQL code to generate better reports from Verizon's database of final bills to send to Outside Collection Agencies to increase the number of final bills collected by lost Verizon customers. Through these projects I saved the company an estimated $9M/year. I also gained teamwork experience by working alongside both an onshore team in Tampa and offshore team based in India. Heavy focus on MySQL to read, write and develop code.
