I’ve always been interested in the night sky. I love long, clear winter nights when all the stars are visible and one can even spot planets with the naked eye. The curiosity about what’s up there made me study astronomy in college. I got some hands-on work with telescopes, traveled around the world to gain knowledge, and used different instruments.

I learned computer programming to process data from telescopes, and eventually I became interested in user interfaces and pivoted my career to code modern web applications. I’m passionate about creating software that people can use with ease. I’ve worked for different startups in Europe and in the US, and each job taught me unique skills to apply across different platforms - from mobile devices, through web browsers, to TV screens.

When I’m not writing code, you’ll find me in my backyard planting veggies and flowers, and figuring out how to keep them safe from that one raccoon that comes at night to devour anything they find in their way. I also ride bikes, take my dog Stevie to the beach, and watch nerdy TV shows.
