Coindust is a micro investment mobile app that gives the general public the option of investment exposure into cryptocurrencies.
The app focuses on helping the user round up their purchases effortlessly and invest these roundups into various cryptocurrencies based on the users risk appetite.

Joined a team of two newly acquired companies (Pillow and ApartmentJet) who focused on apartment short term rentals.
Helped unify these two disparate systems by designing and developing load balanced, highly available, NodeJS Microservices. Greatly reducing the complexity of the systems to enable quicker development iterations and productivity.
Developed and architected the GraphQL API for each of these services, which has become the standard at Expedia.
Setup and used a Kafka infrastructure to allow for these microservices to communicate asynchronously.
Designed and developed NodeJS services to list apartments on multiple listing platforms, controlling which preferences were syndicated to each. Helped architect a new Expedia.com listing platform integration.

Designed and developed a Ruby on Rails application to track employee’s work time for cost capitalization via close collaboration with the CTO and finance department as key stakeholders. This tool helped save $100 million in the first two years by allowing those costs to be amortized over time.
Designed and developed PitchTracker, a tool for soliciting, curating, and tracking ideas for improvement and direction from employees within the Expedia organization. Was designed with a Java GraphQL API backend and a NodeJS/React/Apollo frontend.
Domain modeling and metadata system, which helped to understand Expedia’s architecture. This helped unify Expedia’s cloud cost tracking, CICD pipeline, and enabled distributed tracing. Java microservices and APIs with a NodeJS/React/Apollo front end. The use of this metadata and tracking helped reduce Cloud Costs for Expedia significantly through the visibility of overspending or unneeded/unused resources.
Mentored two summer intern cohorts through Agile software development practices, delivering a highly desired software utility to stakeholders.
