Currently working as a senior software engineer after a couple year run as a frontline manager for our engineering services team at Chime.

I'm currently developing AI tools in Python and Ruby to increase developer velocity, productivity, and confidence. 
In the recent past I leveraged GoLang and Ruby on developer productivity tooling focused around CI and Kubernetes.

Decided to switch back to the IC track from management during a reorg where multiple teams were combined, and enjoying with software systems again even though I miss the human systems too. 

Previously I worked as a full stack software engineer turned Data Engineer turned test engineer.                                                                                                                                                                                  I have built multiple Javascript web applications from the ground up including database design/work (SQL and NoSQL), API level design and implementation (Node), server side logic and client side UI (React, ES6).
I was also responsible for developing, and maintaining, CI/CD pipelines with an emphasis on customer reliability and ease of use (Jenkins, Github, Heroku) with significant implementations based in bash and python. 

I've dabbled in Data Engineering with Scala in the past and the experience remains one of my favorites. One of my great loves it to be challenged in new areas and learn new skills.

I enjoy and excel at working on small to medium sized teams, and have experience building a team from zero in both technical and cultural areas.

Wrote two testing frameworks in python for our applications using selenium to help ensure cross browser compatibility our charter required the application to work on all browsers from IE9 to Safari preview

Currently my work has moved away from the web and I'm now working with Data Engineering using Scala, Spark, and Hadoop to do large scale data analysis and adapting machine learning models for use in our system.
