I am the sole maintainer of the `time` library for the Rust language, which is one of the most widely downloaded libraries. It is used directly or indirectly by a sizable portion of the Rust ecosystem. In developing this library, I have contributed to the Rust compiler and standard library in addition to creating multiple spin-off libraries. Additionally, I have created new techniques to leverage the compiler, permitting greater optimization, as well as creating new algorithms from scratch.
