Led a group of undergraduate and graduate students in the development of a new cloud application for rapid disease categorization to aid in cancer diagnosis using computer vision and histopathology image data.
(Year 2) Worked on a simulink-style GUI to aid in classification of disease from histopathology image data using computer vision.
(Year 1) In collaboration with Kellogg Eye Center at Michigan Medicine, built a VR system for doing cataract surgery using Unreal Engine and Microsoft’s Oculus.
Decreased latency in settlements process by implementing real time message streaming from a client user interface to internal systems using Apache Kafka, added control validations on incoming data, enabling real time digital collaboration between the firm and clients.
